Make Your Own Proxy Site

So your college is restricting the sites you can visit? And they have also blocked all the proxy sites you know? What do you do then?

Make your own proxy site of course ! You don't have to be a geekto make a proxy site. Here we are going to make a simple proxy site using PHP. Everyone who can read this blog can do it.

The first of all you need a to have your own webspace. No you don't have to spend anything to get your webspace. There are plenty of free web hosting available. Just make sure that you get PHP too. Space is not a constrain as our proxy site is going to be just a few kbs in size. Here is a list of free web hosting I find particularly useful.

Now that you have the web space, its time to get the PHP script. You can get it here. Now all you have to do is unzip and upload the two PHP files to your website and you have your own proxy site.

i checked out your proxy. while it did open the sites i tried, when i tried to login it got blocked. for some reason it is sending the url of the site directly when i tried to login and i guess this is how it got blocked.

how exactly does this work?
does it just automaticaly bring up a text box or something and you type the url into it and thats it?

can yuh make a proxy so we can go on msn and facebok and so on these laptops the school gave us are stupied whats the point of them , if even education things are blocked ,we had one E lanuagae schhol proxy yuh can go on ebuddy but no facebook and if yuh wnna go on ebuddy

  I am sorry but we don’t make proxy sites.
  Btw, it depends on how they are blocked. I most of the cases Tor works, but again since it is the school’s laptop installing it may not be allowed.
