150px-rh-fedora_logo-nonfreeThe Fedora Project has launched a program called the Fedora Classroom. The guys at Fedora project organize a weekend long list of events focusing on tools and applications in and around Fedora. All the sessions are taken by Fedora Ambassadors and Linux Experts and Enthusiasts. This all happens over an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) channel located at #fedora-classroom on irc.freenode.net. all for FREE of charge.

They cover topics having varied levels of difficulty. Some of the topics that have been covered as on date are packaging fonts in Fedora, Intro to Bug Triage, How to wow your friends with awesome Gimp tricks!, KDE4 for KDE3 users, SELinux Basics, Firewall Basics and many more. You can join the IRC sessions too and have the pleasure of learning the Fedora system from experts. Visit the Fedora Classroom Wiki for more details about the classroom program. I would recommend you to subscribe to the Fedora Classroom RSS Feed, so that you are aware of the timings of the next class.

You can also try out our brand new Fedora Cheatsheet.
