Swine Flu doesn’t require much introduction. It has already been around for quite a time now  and has victimized many patients all around the world. And for those who are still unaware of this disease, swine flu is a kind of influenza that spreads from pigs. An organization called VeriChip Corporation has launched an under-the-skin Radio Frequency  Identification capsule, or RFID, that patients can have implanted anywhere under their skin. This capsule contains computer electronics linked to the medical records of swine-flu (H1N1 swine flu virus) patients who opt to get the capsule implanted under their skin.

This capsule will enable doctors to get continuous information about the patient’s state using a special reader device. This RFID microchip is roughly the size of a grain of rice and is completely approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and other federal organizations.
