Ballmer fumes over Windows Mobile 7 blunder

logo_wm_largeFinally Microsoft CEO did something which Microsoft usually don’t do, even by mistake. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, while speaking at company’s Venture Capital Summit, openly admitted that they have screwed up with Windows Mobile 7 (as if that was something totally unexpected!).

He admitted that Microsoft had made mistakes during development of Windows Mobile 7 (without explicitly mentioning the causes behind it) and promised that this won’t be repeated again. He also wished that Windows Mobile 7 should have been released by now, which however won’t be seeing the day-light until late 2010.

All this information was tweeted out to the world by an attendee – beninato. Read more about this here.
