Detailed specs of the Google phone Nexus One revealed

The Google phone a.k.a Nexus One had already made its appearance and quite a number of lucky fellows on this planet (read Google employees) have already got their hands on it. Pictures of this new Google phone are floating around the web but the full specification of the phone was not known until now, that is.

An engadget tipster has revealed the document containing the detailed specification of the phone. So what does it contain? The heart of the phone is Qualcomm QSD 8250 which beats at 1 Ghz. It has 512MB of RAM and 512MB ROM, includes 4GB microSD, expandable to 32GB, a 5 megapixel camera with mechanical AF, LED flash, 2X digital zoom , 3G - HSPA 900 / 1700 / 2100, 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, WiFi, GPS etc. And it runs Android 2.1. The retail sales of the phone will begin from as early as 5th January, 2010.

All this sounds damn good, but the bad part is that the phones will be sold as “invite-only”, typical Google style. Remember Google Wave ?
