Big News! The Google Music is now available in India – although it is currently limited to only Hindi songs. To power Google Music in India, Google has teamed up with three online music services in India – in.com, saavn and saregama.
The songs available are all full versions – not snippets – and, best of all, they are all available for free streaming. However, there is no option to purchase a song, which is a bit weird. But we expect an option to purchase to be available soon.
The service is available at http://www.google.co.in/music. From there you can search using the artist name, the album or the name of the song. Clicking on a song brings up a pop-up music player which plays the song for free.
