Wikipedia is an infinite source of knowledge for us all. But at times the website looks cluttered due to the presence of a lot of links in the left sidebar and at the top. Well, if you are a Google Chrome or a Chromium browser user then here is an extension that you will love. This is how Wikipedia looks on the Chrome browser after installing the Extension:

Titled Wikipedia Beautifier, this extension actually lives up to it's name. What it does is it momentarily hides the links on the sidebar and the top and you can see these links once you over over that area. when you hover out the links get hidden again. Here are some of the finer points about the "Wikipedia Beautifier" extension:

  • It converts the fonts to nice, big and eye-soothing serif fonts.
  • Hides the navigation bars on the top and left when not in use

The Wikipedia Beautifier extension is currently not available on the Chrome Webstore. You can directly download it from this link (v 1.1.1). Visit the project page for more details about this extension.
