Bing’s stats is a combination of the searches from bing.com and search.yahoo.com. (Remember that Yahoo search is powered by Bing.) While bing.com accounts for 13% of the searches, search.yahoo.com accounts for the other 16%.

The future of Bing looks good – a 3% increase is quite a big increase. If rumors of the Bing app for Windows 8 turns out to be true, Bing’s market share should see further improvements.

Google is well aware of the competition Bing poses for them. Earlier this year, Google accused Bing of copying their search results. With Bing eating into Google’s market share, it will not surprise us if we see more of these.
