Bing tip: How to put a Bing search box on your website?

To facilitate this, Bing provides you with a search box which is a fast and customizable search solution for your website or blog. What more? - You need not deal with any actual code too. In this article we will tell you how to setup the Bing search box on your website.

There are two types of Bing Search boxes that you can create - theĀ  Basic Search Box that searches a single site that you specify, or the entire Web and the Advanced Search Box that searches multiple sites you specify, the entire Web, or applies a Bing Macro (Get a Macro). The search results box shows up on your current page itself. Here is a short guide to set up a b ing search box on your website in three simple steps.

1. Go to Bing Siteowner. Click on the Basic or the Advanced Search box option. (We are going with the advanced Search box option).

2. Now enter the website addresses from where you want the results to be displayed. You can also add macros to your results by suitably entering details in the macros list. Then click on Next.

3. Specify the dimensions of the search box and the colours for the resulting search results box.

4. Paste the resulting code snippet in your website code where you want your search box to appear.
