Debian and RPM packages available for Opera 10.501 Alpha

Earlier, we wrote about how you can try out Opera 10.50 Alpha for Linux from the source. Now, there is no longer to test it from the source as .deb and .rpm files are now available.

It is recommended that you backup your ~/.opera folder if you are already using opera as the alpha will use this. You can do it with:

cp -r ~/.opera ~/.opera_bak

It is an alpha and so it still has some issues. However, if you want to try it out download it from here and install it.
