Mozilla has released  version 1.0 of its bookmark syncing tool for Firefox, Weave Sync. Although other syncing tool addons are available for Firefox, Weave Sync is officially designed by Firefox. Weave Sync supports not only bookmarks buat also supports syncing history, open tabs, passwords, preferences, and Firefox 3's advanced Location Bar data.

Weave Sync resides in the Tools menu and in the Options menu of Firefox. From there you can check your syncing log, create a user account and password, and toggle sync settings. Bu default it is set to sync all. Weave Sync uploads only the 25 most recent tabs, so if you have more than 25 opened you will not get them all. However, all tabs will be available in the history.

This release is stable enough for use by everyone but it could do with some more polishing. Mozilla says that future releases of Weave Sync will add support for synchronizing your browser add-ons, search plugins and other customizations.

You can download Weave Sync from Add-ons for Firefox page.
