We earlier informed you about the release of 4rth version of Norton's all in one security solution - Norton 360 for Windows. However, the iPhone/iPad app will take few more weeks before it is made available free of charge on the iPhone App Store. The app, once made available, will allow users to back-up data online and access and share the same via URL links. The app might support features like video and music playing, photo viewing etc directly from the online storage, but no official confirmation is available as yet.

These release as of now supports Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 only. And a beta mobile app for Android is also currently available. You can read more about what the new Norton 360 has to offer from here.
