A few hours after the availability of the Ubuntu 10.10 Release Candidate, the Release Candidate for Kubuntu 10.10 is also available for download now. You can download it it from here http://releases.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/maverick/ Note: This is not a stable release. Installation in production machines is not recommended. |

As we have reported earlier, the separate ISO for Kubuntu Netbook Edition has been discontinued for Kubuntu 10.10. It has been merged with the desktop ISO. When you install it, you will get either the desktop interface or the netbook interface by default depending on your screen resolution. |

Last month an ugly looking wallpaper was found, words got around that it was the default wallpaper, everybody cried out its ugliness - there was even a bug report – even though Canonical Design said that that was not the default wallpaper. Today,we have another wallpaper. It looks far better than the previous “default” wallpaper…. |
