Canonical Shows Off uTouch On Ubuntu

A little known feature of the Unity interface in Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.10 is the support for multi-touch. Sure Unity feels a bit beta-ish, but with uTouch and the UI with large icons, it is works quite well on a touch-screen device. (Well there is no on-screen keyboard yet. But that is another thing.)

Facebook launches new touch site

Yesterday Facebook launches a new touch site for touchscreen mobile devices. While it has always been very easy to use Facebook in iPhones and Android devices due to the availablity of good applications, it has always been difficult to use Facebook’s mobile site in other touchscreen devices.
