Lernid is a nice little program which is makes connecting to the learning events that Ubuntu organises a lot easier. It is being developed by Jono Bacon.
Although it is at a very early development stage, Jono has released a snapshot and I must admit it looks quite good. When you connect, you will be presented with a schedule and a chatbox.
