KDE Software Compilation 4.5 was released yesterday and we told you that we will tell you when it is available in the PPA. Well, it is available now in the Kubuntu Backports PPA.
To upgrade your to KDE Software Compilation 4.5 in Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx and Kubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat, open the Konsole and execute the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Thats all. All KDE SC users should upgrade in my opinion. KDE SC 4.5 is really amazing and has really come a long way from KDE 4.0.
