Facebook Introduces New Privacy Settings For Applications, Games & Websites

Facebook Facebook has always been at the receiving end when it comes to their policies of dealing with user privacy. And they keep on introducing new changes to the privacy and account settings for providing the users with a granular control over their Facebook account privacy settings. They had also released a video explaining user privacy with Facebook. The new privacy settings all lets you turn-off or remove all applications at once from your Facebook profile.

For the new privacy settings that lets you choose how Applications, Games and Websites use your data, first go to your account's privacy settings then click on Applications and Settings on the bottom left as shown below:

After which you are taken to a new set of privacy settings for your Facebook account that lets you choose what all information would you like to share with your non-living friends on Facebook that is the Games, Applications and Websites.

Clicking on Edit Settings under the Info accessible through your friends section lets you control what information is available to applications and websites when your friends use them, and you can do the settings from the popup that shows up:

The new settings also let you disable all your Facebook applications at once! Lets hope these new privacy settings are for the good of it's users across the globe 🙂
