After almost a year of development, Blender Foundation has released their open movie Sintel at the Netherlands Film Festival on 27th September 2010. Three days after its premier, it has been released online.
The 15 minute film is available in YouTube.
You can also download higher quality versions in various languages. Blender Foundation will also release a 4-DVD set which will also include all the data needed to reproduce the film.
