XMarks – the popular cross browser bookmarks sync service was on the verge of shutting down just a month back. But things miraculously changed for XMarks and it ended up getting acquired by Lastpass. The result? XMarks has now moved into mobile space too with the launch of a XMarks app for the Android phone. Now this is what you call a spectacular comeback in true spirits.
The XMarks Android app has a nice interface that lets you quickly scroll through the bookmarks that you have arranged from your desktop and open the links as tabs on your Android phone. The app introduces an Open Tab feature that grab the URLs of any active tabs on your desktop and you can access these URLs later on your mobile device. However the app is not available for free and only the Xmarks Premium users can use it on their Android phones.
