With Facebook, you can get in touch with your friends so easily. However at times it may happen that you might come across a Facebook profile who you think is your friend and shoot off a friend request.But later you may realise that the person whose Facebook profile you sent a friend request to is not the one you are looking for.

Some time back Facebook introduced a feature that let you cancel a sent friend request. But with the new Facebook design, this seems to have changed a bit. So, here is how to cancel an already sent Facebook friend request.

Step 1. Log into Facebook

Step 2. Visit the Profile of the user whom you have already sent a Friend request and want to cancel the Friend request.

Step 3. Now click on the "Cancel friend request" which you can find towards the end of the User's profile in the Right Hand column. Check this image below for more clarification.
