Google finally unveiled it's much awaited Chrome OS on 7th Dec. Along with it Google also shared it's plans about the Chrome OS Notebook device which is currently available to select users via a Pilot Program.
According to Google, the Chrome OS has been built for people who spend most of their time on the Web. Chrome OS is designed to run on computers ranging from Netbooks to full blown Desktop Systems. Whereas Android is meant only for Mobile Phones and especially for Touch screen devices.
According to Engadget's sources, Google is all set to launch the first netbook with Chrome OS on 7th December. There is a Chrome launch even on 7th December, which points to a distinct possibility that their source might be true.
