Citrix Systems has launched two powerful new cloud networking products NetScaler Cloud Gateway and NetScaler Cloud Bridge. Both these products can seamlessly connect enterprises to external clouds. Citrix said together the products form a service delivery structure that ensures cloud applications and services are delivered securely and are reliable, regardless of whether they are running in the enterprise data center or from an external cloud provider.

Cloud Bridge :

It is a solution that transparently connects enterprise datacenters to any off-premise cloud, making the cloud a seamless extension of the enterprise network. By making cloud provider networks look like a natural extension of the enterprise datacenter network, Cloud Bridge accelerates the rate at which enterprise can safely and securely use the cloud for production workloads. It reduces the latency and optimizes the bandwidth of the enterprise-to-cloud network connection, while also encrypting this connection so that all data in transit is secure.

Cloud Gateway :

It sits at the “front door” of corporate data centers and acts as a means to orchestrate delivery of applications to end users. The product acts as a single point of control for managing delivery of software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications, as well as web and Windows applications. It provides single sign-on access as well as user provisioning and de-provisioning and unified licensing distribution.

Citirix says that Cloud Gateway and Cloud Bridge will instantly make the cloud more accessible thereby allowing IT organizations to easily extend their data centers and private clouds to a vast array of external cloud services.
