Quest Software Releases Tools for Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Account Management

Quest Software, on Monday, released three open beta tools that help simplify Microsoft Azure infrastructure and account management: Spotlight on Azure, Quest Cloud Storage Manager for Azure, and Quest Cloud Subscription Manager for Azure. These three beta releases will provide visibility into Azure performance, storage and subscription utilization. Quest Software simplifies and reduces the cost of managing IT solving the toughest IT management problems easier, enabling customers to save time and money across physical, virtual and cloud environments.

Dealing with initial complexities within physical, virtual and cloud is one of the basic triggers for the implementation of cloud solutions. And when a company has gone for an investment in terms of clouds, the return is surely expected. Azure had some issues with maximization of resource utilization, cloud storage, and application performance. Quest then exploited these ares to develop these new tools, making it easier to conduct Azure cost analysis, and smoothing the overall transition from physical to cloud-based applications.

Douglas Chrystall, chief architect at Quest Software said –
