Dopplr adds new features
Dopplr is an online service which helps you make more of your travels by sharing your future trips privately with friends and colleagues. The service then highlights coincidences, for example, telling you that three people you know will be in Tokyo when you will be there too. It links with many popular online calendars and social networks. Dopplr also lets you make a trip public so that you may notify your fans of a particular visit. Now, let us see what the new Dopplr has to offer us:
More ways to use Dopplr via Twitter, email and other social networks
You can now add trips to Dopplr via Twitter and email directly. Dopplr now shortlinks for key cities around the world Try out: london, helsinki, san francisco, paris, tokyo, sydney and madrid thus making it easier to refer to cities in tweets, emails and status updates.
More ways to mark the past - the social atlas
Dopplr has now introduced a very easy way to say that you've visited a restaurant, hotel or, for instance, a great local market. As you visit cities around the world, Dopplr will alert you to the places your network has been and enjoyed thus saving your precious time and money. You can check a demo at http://dplr.it/eat/qg01.
