How To Install Google Chrome From Dev or Beta Channel?
If you are an advanced user, then you might want to try the new features of your favorite Google Chrome browser before those features make it to the stable final release. All you need to do is just install the Developer's version or the Beta Version of Google Chrome which contains all latest changes.

However you should remember that this dev version of the browser is not meant for regular use and you should not use it for carrying out your important tasks on the web. Here are the download links for the Google Chrome browser from the Dev channel & the beta channel for various operating systems:
Windows
Download and run the installer for the desired channel:
- Beta channel: http://www.google.com/chrome/eula.html?extra=betachannel
- Canary build: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/chromesxs. You should also see this.
- Stable channel (Latest Usable Release): http://www.google.com/chrome?platform=win
Apple Mac OS
Then drag the app to the usual place.

Tip: Installing Google Chrome will add the Google repository to your system so that you can receive automatic updates. If you don't want Google's repository, run this command from a terminal before installing Chrome: "sudo touch /etc/default/google-chrome"
