Shutter Gets A Monochrome Icon And UbuntuOne Support
Shutter is one of the best tools for taking screen-shots out there. In fact is the only screen-shot tool I have ever used since I started using it a few months back. In short it is damn good.
Today with a new update, Shutter has finally replace its blue icon, which looked out of place among the other monochrome icons in Lucid, with a monochrome one. So, now it blends in well with the overall theme.
Another change is the addition of upload to UbuntuOne. It does not actually upload to UbutntuOne directly, it stores it in your UbuntuOne directory so that it will get uploaded. A nice little feature indeed.
If you already have Shutter installed from the PPA, a simple system upgrade is all you need. Otherwise, if you want to install it, open the terminal and execute the following command:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:shutter/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install shutter
If the UbuntuOne thing does not work, try installing libnet-dbus-glib-perl.
sudo apt-get install libnet-dbus-glib-perl
