Use OpenDNS to protect yourself from all phishing attacks under the sun

Phishing might cause loss of millions to companies and non-repairable personal damages. So you should make it a point that you secure yourself from getting phished or attacked by phishing. Using OpenDNS is completely free. And setting it up is a cakewalk. You just need to change your Primary and Secondary DNS server addresses to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 respectively. The OpenDNS website has detailed guides on configuring OpenDNS on various operating systems such as Windows XP, 2000 / NT, Vista, OS X Leopard and OS X Tiger. On Linux / Unix systems you just need to add two lines to the file /etc/resolv.conf. FIrst open the file and comment out everything that is present in it, then add these two lines to it:

nameserver 2008.67.220.220
