Google Chrome No Longer A Beta In Linux And Mac
Google Chrome has been available both in Linux and Mac for quite sometime as a beta. However today Google Chrome for both Linux and Mac have finally been released without the beta tag, as a stable version.
This stable release comes with most of the features found in previous beta versions of the browser like - bookmark and preferences synchronization, HTML5 features like - Geolocation API, App Cache, web sockets etc.
This version of Chrome however does not come with Flash integration; unlike some of the recent betas. If you are already using Chrome, you can get this new release through auto update.
