Google's browser, Chrome has a new beta release, Chrome 5.0.375.29 Beta. While Linux and Mac users are already using the Chrome 5 Beta series, this is the first beta of the series for Windows users.

Google is already boasting that this new release, with its V8 JavaScript engine, is 30-35% faster than the previous release. This effectively puts Chrome way ahead of its competitors in terms of speed.

The JavaScript engine was not the only part which got improvement. The new release also comes with Adobe Flash Player Plugin integrated directly with the browser, so that you do not have to install it seperately. This will update Flash as soon as new updates are available along with Chrome updates.

It also comes with new synching functionality which lets user sync bookmark and other browser preferences such as themes, homepage and startup settings, and Web content settings across different computers.

It also includes several new HTML5 features such as Geolocation APIs, App Cache and file drag-and-drop capabilities.
