Concern have been raised about the boundaries of the US Patriot Act. Some have been suggesting that the Act requires them US based companies to give user data to the US government, if asked for it, regardless of the location of the server.

According data released by the Google Analytics Team, 89.9% of the users accessed the internet on Windows machines between November 1, 2009 - February 1, 2010. The number has however dropped to 84.8% by November 1, 2010 - February 1, 2011.
