File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a network protocol used to transfer data from one computer to another through a network such as the Internet. An FTP client may connect to an ImagescapeFTP server to manipulate files on the server. FTP sites are typically used for uploading and downloading files to a central server computer, for the purpose of file distribution.
