"Oh! Another Twitter service!" you may say. But wait Twitterfall is different. Of all the Twitter services I have tested, none impressed me as much as Twitterfall has done. In their own words:

Twitterfall is a way of viewing the latest 'tweets' of upcoming trends and custom searches on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

In other similar services, the the page needs to be reloaded to update the the popular trends. However, in Twitterfall the popular trends are updated automatically, which makes it much more convinient to use.

In Twitterfall, the updates fall down from the top of the page in real time. (Hence, Twitterfall as in waterfall, I guess.) Twitterfall provides an abundance of customizations. A very impressive search option is available for custom searches. By making a lists of custom searches, it is possible to watch out for our own terms. The appearence can also be customized a lot. There are different themes available. The text size, text color, animations etc. are but a few of the appearence customization available.

Twitterfall also allows you to filter our retweets and specify a geographical region to search. If you login using your twitter account, it is also possible to reply, retweet, favorite the tweets and follow and direct message the user from inside Twitterfall.

Now what they need to do is add a way to view the tweets of the persons we are following. If they do that I am pretty sure that it can even replace the Twitter web interface.

Given below is a screenshot of Twitterfall:
