Canadian Indie Rock Band, Arcade Fire, has released what can only be described as the probably the most revolutionary music video ever.

As part of the Chrome Experiment, they have released an interactive music video for their song “We Used To Wait”. By using some amazing HTML5 stuffs and data from Google Maps, it creates an amazing music video.

The aim is to invoke nostalgic memories. So, you are actually supposed to enter the place you grew up. But you can just enter any place.

The postcard

You can also create a postcard. Again, this is beautifully rendered using HTML5. You can then send the postcard. (Hopefully they will not actually print and send it. :p)

Try it out here – The Wilderness Downtown. It is sure to open your mind to the capabilities of HTML5.

Note: The video is very resource intensive.
