With the update, Twitter for Android now supports multiple accounts. Users can switch between different accounts without the need to log out. This feature has been available in the Twitter’s iOS app for sometime. Although it has come a bit later on Android, it is nonetheless a very welcome feature.

Another big feature is push notification. With Push Notification, users will receive updates regardless of whether the Twitter app is open or not. Users have the option of turning it on or off. Users can also choose whether they want to receive the push update for DMs, mentions or simply tweets.

To enable Push Notification, go to Settings. From Settings, tap on the account for which you want to configure the Push Notifications. Now enable Auto Refresh and pick which ones you want to receive the Push Notification for from Tweets, Mentions and Messages. You can receive push notifications for any number of accounts or none at all.
